Probably the most well preserved Golden Era Gibson we've had the pleasure of offering for sale. No cracks, no breaks, virtually no fret wear, only minimal surface scratches and the slightest touch of finish checking.

We hesitate to list any of our instruments as "Mint" but this certainly is as close as we've seen in a long while. To the casual eye this could easily be passed off as a reissue.

The only changed part are the tuner buttons, half of which were already swapped over. The 3 remaining "mummy fingers" will be included in a bag in the equally clean Lifton Case that this guitar has clearly spent most of its life in.

Complete with a set of untouched PAFs this guitar sounds as good as it looks. Silky smooth tone that is very pick sensitive and crunches up beautifully when pushed hard.

The neck feels great with a nice chunky profile measuring .97" in depth at the first fret, growing to 1.92" by the 12th fret as it transitions into the heel.

This guitar truly feels like a time capsule. The switch, pots, tuners, and case latches all feel brand new in operation.

The guitar is currently set up with a set of 12 gauge flatwound strings. The setup required some adjustment to the truss rod which functioned perfectly and had likely not been turned in decades.
