Early 1965 Gibson SG Junior - Cherry - Wide Nut
Murphy Labs eat your heart out, this wide-nut early 1965 SG Jr. has possibly the best finish checking we've seen in ages.
This thing is a rock machine, with a super hot 8.15K output P90, super fast neck and the addition of a Music City Bridge (original lightning bar in the case)
No cracks or breaks but unfortunately someone did widen the pickup cavity slightly at some point to accommodate a humbucker. The nut has also been replaced.
There's a large amount of finish checking, some chipped away areas, a healthy smattering of dings and dents and the aroma of cigarettes.
It may not win the blue ribbon for mint, but its one of the coolest, most honest Juniors we've had come through the shop.
