1933 Gibson L-00 - Sunburst

Lovely little stencil-logo small-body Gibson found in a closet where it sat for several decades. The repairs are numerous but not unexpected for a 93-year-old guitar: several crack repairs, reglued treble side headstock wing, reglued bridge, and some reglued bracing.

Despite all this, the neck angle is great, allowing for low action while maintaining saddle height, the original frets have some divots but still play cleanly in all positions and the smoothed over V neck profile make this guitar even more of a joy to play.

This L-00 has a deceptively large sound for its tiny size with tremendous bass response and a very well-balanced tone.
