Super cool example of a Bannerhead LG-2 that is meant to be played! This one has no truss rod thanks to the metal shortage during the war.

Neck is fairly straight with a bit of fall away past the 12th fret, but the action up to the 12th is great.

As a result of having no truss rod, the neck is about as thick as they come, measuring 1.05" in depth at the first fret and fattening to 1.26" by the 12th.

This example has a replaced bridgeplate, and the original bridge itself appears to have been reduced slightly. Someone also added banjo style inlays to the fingerboard and headstock giving this LG-2 an added unique touch that sets it apart from the rest.

There are a few repaired cracks on the back and some evidence of slight overspray on the neck, but is overall remarkably well preserved for something that was clearly lovingly played for the last 8 decades.

Sonically? They don't call these "mini J-45s" for nothing. Super even response with much more bass than one would typically expect from a small body acoustic.

Comes in an aftermarket hardshell case. Feel free to reach out with any questions, we're always interested in comparable vintage trades.
