1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway- Cherry
What's not to like about a double cut Les Paul Junior? Big fat neck, massive tone from a single P-90 and one of the most recognizable shapes in rock and roll!
This example is one of the finest sounding and playing examples we have had the pleasure of offering for sale. It's incredibly faded on the top with a plethora of dings, dents and impressions along with a good amount of finish checking. The only non-original parts on the guitar would be the addition of a Music City bridge and an apparent re-fret.
This one also has the rare thick single-ply black pickguard as opposed to the tortoiseshell guard usually found on these double cuts.
According to the previous owner this guitar was formerly owned by Tom Bukovac, but there is no proof of this connection.
