1960 Gibson ES-330TD - Sunburst Refinish

This 330 has so much going for it: dot neck, mickey mouse ears, original tailpiece and ABR-1 bridge, original single line Kluson tuners, original harness with pot codes reading late 1959 and bumblebee capacitors, original knobs and switch tip, it even has the factory Lifton hardshell case!

Now for the not so great: it's been refinished, routed for humbuckers, and the bass-side neck binding has been replaced. Sadly the FON/Serial number did not survive the work.

The work that was done was largely well-executed with the least convincing piece being the neck binding on the bass side with uneven side-dot markers.

The result is an instrument that's truly a joy to play. The later Gibson humbuckers sound strong and the slim 1960 neck profile feels very intuitive and is very rewarding to dig into.
